Prototype Deck
Zombies of Kickstarter is a project for creating a deck of playing cards that features 54 uniquely designed illustrations of people as Zombies who back the project on Kickstarter. The goal is to achieve $3,500 so that a full print-run can be made from the campaign but there are stretch funding goals that; if achieved, would allow for the creation of a second deck (For poker players who like to switch decks between deals) which could also allow for an additional 54 illustrations of a whole new set of backers!

Zombies of Kickstarter is being produced by TalkingBull Games with design and illustrations by Jonathan H. Kantor. Jonathan is an active duty soldier who spends his off time designing games and decks of cards. He is a graphic designer and an illustrator who loves sci-fi, gaming, history, and especially ZOMBIES! With one game successfully published independently through another Kickstarter campaign, TalkingBull Games has gained popularity amongst people who share similar interests. His first game, Pieces of Eight – Steal the Booty! Drink the Rum! has done very well in independent sales and is currently seeking a publisher. Since then, Jonathan has focused on a Civil War card game, a Space warfare board game, a Revolutionary War card game and much more! Of course, he returned to one of his favorite genres and began drawing Zombies about 2 years ago while still deployed to Afghanistan. After drawing about sixty to seventy illustrations of friends, coworkers, soldiers, and backers from a previous campaign, he decided to launch this campaign to find new people to draw.

If the campaign is successful, Jonathan will ask each backer who supported at the $50 and $100 levels to send three good pictures of themselves posing as zombies! There is no limit to what he can draw and has no problem drawing people eating other folks, birds pecking at entrails, or anything really nasty to make the cards as interesting and as disgusting as possible! So if you or someone you know (Who loves Zombies) would like to see yourself drawn as a Zombie for a personalized deck of playing cards, please check out ZOMBIES of Kickstarter on Kickstarter.com!

Once the project reaches its first stretch-funding goal, backers will be able to order their image on 8″x10″ photo paper which looks great in a frame, mousepads, t-shirts, mugs, iPhone cases, Samsung Galaxy S III cases, other phone cases, and much more!
