We are The Moves – an eclectic jam-grass group out of San Diego – led by the dynamic coast-to-coast songwriting duo of Tim Norton and Rae Irelan. Teaming up with world-class musicians, we have a fun, inviting and familiar sound that rattles your soul! This Spring, our line up of So-Cal performances include: The House of Blues – San Diego and The Ramona Bluegrass Festival. This Year holds a whole lot in store for The Moves and we’re excited to announce our newest project – a debut album, titled Yonder Blue featuring 11 original tunes!
So, you may be wondering, what is Kickstarter? Well, it’s a crowd-funding platform that is allowing us to collaborate with you on this project! The way it all works is we launch an ‘ALL or NOTHING’ campaign. This means: We either meet ALL of the intended goal or NO exchange happens, and no album.
If we fall short of the goal, you won’t be billed and this project won’t happen.
HOWEVER – When (positive manifestation..) we reach/exceed the goal, this campaign will be considered a fully-funded success – meaning we get to move forward and – record the tunes, order the printed albums, screen press the t shirts, hand write the thank you letters and book in-home concerts etc!
Bringing this album together has required whole lot of budgeting and planning to make it real. I’ve spent dozens upon dozens of hours drafting up all the necessary ingredients to create something special, and funding is the final step. We have all the conscious artists, collaborators, facilitators and musicians lined up and ready to make this happen – So we’ve only got one option here… It’s time to make MOVES!
