A problem we have found both personally and in our culture is the need for facilitation of the music industry. Our younger generations are gravitating towards the desire to express their story in music form.

That’s only going to continue to grow.

There are places where you can hear songs and stream music, but there is no platform for creatives to directly connect between one another.

Our idea is to reconfigure the music industry network into a web-based and mobile application. For the artists, producers, managers: a hub to check each other out on a quick marketing basis, and then follow through with direct messaging and group collaboration messaging. Instead of the current process, which is to find someone through multiple indirect phone interactions and people, or to post through a general site in hopes somebody random reaches out. Primarily, this is for those who do not otherwise have the resources to jumpstart their music career. And of course, Wyrd is for the artists who simply need more exposure and growth. We envision that an aspiring creative downloads this app with one goal in mind: to be discovered and encouraged by a community that strictly supports music improvement. You sign up on the app with your interests and needs at heart, others do the same. The app will then have the back-end job to pollinate people with mutual interests.

No cluttering of random posts or “tweets” with people’s opinions to opaque artists. The feed and posts are strictly music and marketing based. Quick interactions that are focused on the music itself, with a branch to develop the relationship in the private conversations. This app will prioritize interests and locations to inhibit convenience, but will also provide a platform for a manager in China to find a kid in Indianapolis that has been singing/rapping over instrumentals made by a kid in Oklahoma. It is the way the web has always worked…just broken down for music.
