The Wristy is a highly absorbent, sweat wicking towel that wraps around your wrist. It features an innovative design with a fold-out pocket that fits over your hand to allow you to easily wipe off sweat while on the go. The Wristy is made with Dry-Zone moisture-sensor fabric. It is quick-drying, sweat-wicking, lightweight and anti-bacterial with UV protection.

“I’m an active person. I enjoy running, hiking, and yoga. I just completed my first full marathon a few months ago. In doing these things I sweat a lot. I don’t want to be having a nice scenic run or a strengthening yoga class and be bothered by sweat dripping down my face. It’s distracting and uncomfortable,” explains Wristy inventor Sarah Page. After evening studies at Stanford, and tweaking her prototype, Page launched a Kickstarter campaign (www.kickstarter.com) to connect with people looking for a solution to sweat.

Page has improved the design based on her own testing as well as feedback from runners and yogis. Here are quotes from some Wristy enthusiasts:

• I wanted to let you know that I have been loving your wrist towel!! I wear it all the time during my hot yoga classes. I like the fabric and functionality of it. It’s simple yet effective.

• The towel is very well made from the perfect material. Because of the way it is designed, it is ALWAYS handy. GREAT JOB!

• I received my Wristy and Kuli Kuli bar in the mail today! I was super excited to use it! It was 92° outside when we ran and I needed to wipe a lot…lol! I ate my bar after my run…#Delicious! Thanks again! #LovinMyLife #MyWristyIsMultipurpose

Kickstarter campaigns operate under an “all-or-nothing” funding model so if the Wristy project doesn’t reach its goal at the end of 30 days the inventor will go home empty-handed. Be sure to follow her on Twitter @girlsrunningit) and Facebook to follow her progress, and make sure to spread the word to your social media networks. Consider donating to help the project come to life and be among the first in the world to sport the innovative new Wristy on your adventures.
