Brussels, Belgium – On 6 January 2020 FALKO Golf launched a Kickstarter campaign for the World’s Most Comfortable Golf Glove. This campaign introduces a unique design of a golf glove that combines comfort features such as breathability and snug-fit with performance features such as better grip and durability.
The finished product is the results of 2 years of research and development and thanks to the input of hundreds of golfers around the world who participated in feedback and product testing.
Commercial Manager, Steve Vandebos explains, “We are on a mission to revolutionize the golf handwear and help golfers to have a better synergy between the hand and the club, but also to have a more enjoyable golf experience…and FALKO Airlite is just the beginning”.
Historically speaking, golf gloves have not changed much since their first appearance in the 1800s. While wearable designs & materials have evolved over the years, cabretta leather is still the predominant material for golf gloves. “Disappointed by the uncomfortable and boring gloves in the market, we decided to take on the challenge ourselves” says Vandebos.
FALKO Airlite sets itself apart with ‘Differences that make all the difference’. Unlike traditional golf gloves with a Velcro strap, the new glove features easy slip on/off EziFit™ Technology. The back of the glove is made of highly stretchable and breathable material for improved breathability, while the palm is made of durable buffalo leather with ActiGrip™ technology for superior grip. On close inspection, the thumb on the FALKO glove features a touchscreen hotspot, and there are even a range of colors to choose from.
Vandebos adds “While being passionate about golf, we take our social responsibility seriously. We deliberately chose to work with smaller manufacturers in the emerging markets to create jobs for the local communities… also with our Buy1-Give2 program in association with the homeless centers in Europe and USA, we are determined to donate a pair of cold-isolating gloves to the more needy ones with every purchase of a FALKO glove”.
The Kickstarter campaign has been launched to help bring this product to market. Backers can support this project by pledging towards the project. In exchange, backers can gain access to this opportunity for a limited-quantity price promotion.
