An autonomous and self-driven device, designed to follow people with reduced mobility, allowing the transport of objects in an independent way. This can be a good description for the wi-GO, the smart shopping cart, created by Luis de Matos and his team at IS2you – Intelligent Systems.

For the last two years, this group of young entrepreneurs has focused their work on the development of this technology, which they believe will change the future of mobility.

After having won several national and international awards, the young entrepreneurs now hope to achieve success on their crowdfunding campaign, which was launched at indiegogo.com.

The “wi-GO: The autonomous and self-driven shopping cart” campaign kicked off last Thursday and runs until June 2th . The aim is to gather funds to allow the conclusion of the cart, covering licensing expenses, performing of a period of testing in a real environment, proceed to mass production and finally launch the product to the market.

The promoters point to a gathered amount of 75 000€, a number that will allow the conclusion of the development process and that will ease the implementation of the wi-GO in several commercial surfaces, where they can make the difference among users.

Donations range from €1 (one euro) to € 15,000 (fifteen thousand euros) and all values have associated rewards. To contribute to this project, people only need to visit the campaign page, choose a perk and the payment method: paypal account, debit or credit card. The process is simple and secure. www.indiegogo.com

The campaign also has a social appeal. Contributions will also allow different associations to receive a wi –GO, everytime a 25 000€ level is achieved. Luis de Matos and his team will deliver a wi-GO to charity associations, which will be chosen by a poll, on the company’s website at www.is2you.eu .

The wi -GO project combines technological expertise with social responsibility, seeking to establish a common path towards integration, improving quality of life .

Since together we can make a difference, the wi -GO counts on your contribution.
