My name is Gabriel Ruiz, and I’m the founder of Bolieve. I was born in Tarija, located on the south end of Bolivia. It is the poorest country in South America, with nearly 60 percent of the population living in poverty. Many communities are struggling just to meet their basic needs. Bolivia also has one of the lowest school attendance rates. Bolieve implements the one for one model: For every backpack sold, we will provide a day of education for 25 kids in Bolivia.
We started this movement by helping people in Bolivia, and from there we expanded to other countries in need.
