Hong Kong — Vorx is excited to announce the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for Hexglo, a special drinking bottle that doubles as a portable lantern and detachable spotlight. Hexglo is perfect for everyday use, camping, hiking, biking and other fun adventures.

“Vorx stands for Versatile, Outgoing, Revolution and Xenogeneic. Our goal is to bring our interesting, yet functional concepts into reality and share them with the world,” the creators explain, “We have spent many hours researching and developing this project over the past eight months. Vorx has a full team of design and engineering specialists, so we are very confident that we can complete this project successfully,”

Hexglo is a multi-purpose water bottle designed to be both stylish and practical. The ergonomically friendly cap locks and opens single-handedly, so you can keep one hand free to do other things. Hexglo’s body is made using Triton plastic which is 100% BPA free and eco-friendly.

The built-in 3600 mAh lithium battery can run on maximum brightness for up to 4 hours and up to 8 hours on normal. Each Hexglo water bottle comes with a wrist lanyard and a Micro USB charging cable.

With a simple click of button, Hexglo’s lantern lights up. The body’s unique hexagonal design allows for ideal light diffusion, perfect for use as a personal lantern or reading light indoors and outdoors. You can detach Hexglo’s light module at the bottom with a simple twist and pull for use as a flashlight. For camping or outdoor use, you can also hang the module inside a tent or on a tree.

For added convenience, Hexglo was made to fit into most bicycle holders. When the light is switched on flash mode during cycling, it not only makes it easier to locate the bottle but also acts as a visual alert to others. This safety feature makes Hexglo good for city riding or as an emergency light to keep in your car.

“Your support as a backer will be the last piece of puzzle bringing this product into reality. The funding will be used for final touch ups and to meet our manufacturer’s minimum ordering quantity,” says the team, “We will also set a certain part of budget on component sourcing and testing to deliver the best possible product.”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of limited rewards including one Hexglo for $28 US, two for $52, and more. Backers can also pledge as little as $96 for four Hexglo bottles, while distributors can pledge $2,400 for 100 Hexglo bottles and a free POS display.
