VitaPhone is a smart ‘entryphone’ or intercom that mounts directly into or near the entrance door for the user’s convenience. Its features include a 9.7” LCD screen with 1024×768 resolution, touch sensor, dual cameras, microphone and speaker. The device is directly connected to the Internet. When a guest enters the room or building, he or she uses the touch screen to find your apartment number and clicks on it. Right after that you hear the incoming call directly on your smartphone!
Unlike the standard ‘entryphone’, VitaPhone requires no installation of a managing control panel for each user (in each apartment). All you need is a Mac, PC or relatively recent smartphone or tablet and you are ready to go! We are planning to provide the possibility to control the device via SMS commands (SMS will be free of charge): open or close a door lock, enable security alarm or video recording, send a simple text message that will be displayed on the VitaPhone display, etc.
The device will be fully cordless except the power plug. The device is equipped by the autonomous battery, so in case of the power failure, it will still work up to 10 hours. VitaPhone has almost endless possibilities. You can open the door for your visitor without leaving the couch, by one-touch on your smartphone that sends a command to the intercom to open the electric lock. People who have a difficulty to walk because of their old age or disease, single people will greatly benefit from our system.
You don’t need to carry keys from Your house, offices or apartments thanks to integrated biometric scanning sensor. Just touch the sensor with Your finger and door will open! You always can watch what is happening on both sides from the entrance door, all You have to do – open the application on Your smartphone. Infrared camera will catch the video even in darkness. Thanks to the movement detectors, video streaming and recording will be enabled only on motion occurrence, and real-time image will be instantly available on Your smartphone or tablet. This is the reliable and cheap alternative to the full-featured alarm system.
