Introducing the crowdfunding campaign for Versus, a short film starring famous Spanish model Jon Kortajarena. Written and directed by Iñigo Eguren, the film will be produced by his brother Koldo.
Versus tells the story of a man trapped in the comfort of his room who maintains an inner fght between the desire to live his life and the fear to face the unknown. A psychological thriller that will be shot during the month of August and will have more known names in the team.
Jon Aguirresarobe, known for his work in commercials, short flms and blockbuster movies like Twilight, Eclipse or Fright Night will be cinematographer. The composer Pablo Cervantes, three times nominee to the Spanish Film Academy Goya Awards, is also part of the project.
Versus is the directorial debut of Basque flmmakers Koldo and Iñigo Eguren, who live in California, where they have been working for months in this project.
About Jon Kortajarena: Jon Kortajarena has been a professional model for over 10 years, he is one of the most valued male models of the world and has been named as one of the top10 most infuential models of the world by Forbes Magazine. Kortajarena made his debut as an actor in the Oscar nominee A Single Man, in which he costarred along Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. After that successful experience, and looking forward to his career as an actor, Jon works with different interpretation teachers in Madrid, New York and Los Angeles.
About the Eguren brothers: Koldo Eguren studied International Business Management in Spain, Germany and South Korea before starting his career as a Film and TV producer. He is co-founder and CEO of the Basque production company Old Port Films and president of the California-based Hero Pictures. Just Graduated in Film School, Iñigo will continue his studies with a Master’s Degree in Directing at UCLA, while he continues developing projects with his brother.
