Málaga, Spain — On March 20 2017, A young entrepreneur team has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Valben Collection, a brand based in Spain that mixes influences of the Italian sartorial fashion with the street style of big cities like New York and London.
“The line consists of traditional style shoes adapted to modern times, using high quality materials. Advanced production processes make these shoes more affordable to make, but we still maintain a handcrafted finish found only in a shoe of this caliber,” says one of the cofounders, “We have opted to use Goat Suede as the center of the Collection, using other exclusive materials such as Nubuck, Pony Hair and Calf leather as highlights.”
For this Kickstarter campaign, Valben Collection is releasing six shoe styles: Chukka, Loafer, Slipper, Tassel Slipper, Boat Shoe, and Comfort Light. Each of these styles is offered in a variety of sizes, colors, patterns, and textures that backers can choose from at the end of the campaign by filling out a survey. All Valben Collection shoes come with a dust bag and a cleaning brush. EU backers will also get a spray for cleaning suede and nubuck shoes.
The team already has made several prototypes and is working with a manufacturer in Spain that has manufactured shoes for more than three generations! Both old and new techniques go into making each high quality Valben Collection shoe. After a rigorous design process, carefully chosen pieces of suede and leather are laser cut and then manually sewn together by experts. Next, the sole is stitched on to complete the masterpiece.
“Reducing costs and selling the product exclusively online allows us to offer our product at a very competitive price,” the team explains, “With the funds raised we are aiming to grow our startup fashion brand and become an important player in the sector. In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including one pair of shoes starting at €130 for early backers, two pairs for €250, or three pairs for €360. Backers can also pledge €650 for six pairs – one pair in each style. Wholesalers interested in carrying Valben Collection also have several reward tiers to choose from.
Apart from being the first to receive one or more pairs of these top-quality shoes, all backers will have access to future discounts and will be the first to know about new releases.
