Independent film is a tough act to follow. Subsidies for filmmakers have disappeared in many countries. Television conglomerates carefully pick and choose scripts they film and produce themselves, almost always choosing political correctness and mainstream over provocation and the expression of art. Rampage 3- No Mercy! is such a movie, that tells the story of Bill Williamson, a young individual that feels tremendous inequality and wrongdoing in the world. Confronted with his own problems and the continuous madness surrounding him. He decides to rob a bank and run amok. After his successful escape in Rampage 1, he returns in Rampage 2: Capital Punishment, to take a famous news anchor (Lochlyn Munro) hostage and force an interview with him, where he tries to explain his actions and gives us an insight of his mindset.
In a weird way, Uwe Boll let´s us sympathize with the protagonist Bill Williamson (Brendan Fletcher) who takes the right into his own hands and commits vigilante justice.
Now, in the continuation of the Rampage Trilogy – Rampage 3- No Mercy!, the story of Bill Williamson will come to an end. Who is next on Bill´s his list? Will he escape again, or will he finally face justice? This action movie is a breathtaking adventure that is filled with critical thinking.
