Ukrainian Ethno Calendar began a campaign to develop iOS application

The unique art project Ukrainian Ethno Calendar 2014 began a campaign to raise funds to develop iPad application.

The project is launched on Kickstarter and will last 30 days – from 11 November to 11 December 2013. During this time it is planned to collect 5,500 GBP to develop a project on the AppStore.

Ukrainian Ethno Calendar tells about Ukrainian festivals, myths and culture in a form of iOS application. Ukrainian women in national clothes are the main theme of the Calendar. Prototypes of real existing Ukrainian women were used while creating every month illustration.

The project creators plan to produce not only iOS application but also a printed adition of the calendar and a series of postcards.
Everyone who supports the project on Kickstarter will get Ethno Calendar application for iPad before it appears on the Appstore.
