Pasadena, MD – On May 1 2015, Ryan Hiner launched a Kickstarter campaign for Twozie, the first beverage insulator that can adjust to accommodate a variety of 12-16 ounce bottles and cans. The Twozie also includes a pocket and a handle for even more convenience.
“Twozie is a combination of a can koozie and a bottle koozie, hence the name Twozie for two in one koozie. As of right now Twozie can hold a variety of different 12 to 16 ounce bottles and cans,” explains the creator, “Twozie also comes in three colors blue, black, and pink. With funding we hope to launch a variety of new colors. We also hope to finally launch another new product which will mainly be for 24 ounce cans and will convert to hold the typical 12 ounce can.”
The Twozie works using a patented adjustment process that involves Velcro and an elastic band that can be attached to a belt loop. The Velcro and elastic used to latch onto your belt loop is strong enough to hold a full 12 ounce bottle, meaning you no longer have to put your drink down at a party and forget which one is yours. One of the best features of the Twozie is the handle that comfortably fits around your hand. It prevents dropping and is so comfortable that it almost feels like you are not holding anything at all.
“Twozie also has a pocket that can fit anything from credit cards to the iPhone 5. To get items in or out of the pocket you simply unzip the Twozie and insert or remove your belongings from the pocket. Then zip Twozie back up after items are inserted,” says Hiner, “When Twozie is fully zipped up, your belongings are completely secure in its pocket. Now you can go out on the boat or to the beach and not have to worry about getting your wallet or purse wet, just to bring your ID card and some cash.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including one Twozie for $10, two Twozies for $25, and more! Backers can also pledge $100 to receive three Twozies (one in each color) and be one of the first to get the next new mass produced color Twozie that comes out.
