Luanda, Angola – June 12, 2015 – Tupuca means to indulge, a word derived from a local Angolan dialect. This word was the setting for what was envisioned multiple people doing, indulging in food, family, friendships and moments. This spurred the founders of Tupuca to think of how to efficiently bring this vision to the masses, while using existing infrastructure and human capital. Thus, Tupuca was born, a food delivery application that acts as a platform to connect the daily customer to their restaurant of choice, a simple yet effective idea. Furthermore, Tupuca seek to tackle an even bigger issue, which revolves around child hunger, this app will seek to take comprehensive steps to reducing the current staggering statistics that they are facing, this application will have a built in option that will allow the user to donate a chosen amount to a charity of choice.

Tupuca will create jobs in the logistic and administrative fields as well as offering expansion for our partnered restaurants and ultimately boosting the economy. Tupuca would not only help bring convenience to an untapped Angolan market, but would also help provide an avenue for people to give back when they order using the Tupuca application and create job opportunities as well.
