Created and developed in Australia, the Nomad Hoodie Kickstarter Launch is showcasing a brand new premium travel product. The Kickstarter campaign will run until 3 July 2016 and is looking for pledges to help raise funds to get the product manufactured.
Made from luxurious premium bamboo cotton, the Nomad Hoodie is packed with innovative support features that help travellers sleep and relax during long journeys. The Nomad Hoodie has been designed to be a simple and stylish garment that can be worn on or off any plane, train or bus while travelling.
The idea for the Nomad Hoodie came when its creator, Stephanie Shadbolt, couldn’t get to sleep on a flight from Bali to Australia. She said the Nomad Hoodie Kickstarter launch has come after lots of hard work aimed at making her fellow travellers’ lives more comfortable. “I am so excited to now launch Nomad Hoodie through Kickstarter,” she said. “After a lot of hard work designing and developing my travel hoodie, it is now ready for the world.”
Stephanie tested the Nomad Hoodie prototype herself on a long haul flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles in February and it passed with flying colours. “I hope you love it as much as I do,” she said.
Lightweight and easily stored, the Nomad Hoodie has been designed to maximise the comfort long haul travellers can create.
Slipping easily over everyday clothes, the Nomad Hoodie comes in a range of sizes to ensure the perfect fit.
• The high quality bamboo cotton hoodie, also available in a plain cotton, essentially acts as a wearable blanket, providing warmth while also being very breathable.
• A large hood can be pulled down over the eyes and face to block out any light and create a private, comfortable space that encourages sleep and relaxation.
• Arms can be threaded through front supports that hang from the shoulders, or placed in a Kangaroo Pouch in the middle of the stomach.
• For security, the Nomad Hoodie has an inside pocket for storing passports and other valuables while sleeping and relaxing. There’s also an external pocket for holding a smartphone or music device.
By using Nomad Hoodie, travellers won’t need to pack extra jumpers, scarves, beanies, blankets or eye masks for long haul journeys.
Stephanie’s Nomad Hoodie Kickstarter campaign is seeking to raise at least AUD$5,000 and can be viewed here: www.kickstarter.com
