Dallas – Nov. 28, 2017 – The rechargeable, six-in-one light replaces a flashlight, headlamp, bike light, lantern, emergency and task lights.
Thirty Third Parallel announced the release of PAL (Portable, Adaptive Lighting system), a versatile, rechargeable light for home, work and outdoors. PAL’s modular design is anchored by a central rechargeable light that pairs with a variety of mounting accessories to provide illumination wherever it is needed. PAL is essentially six lights in one: capable of functioning as a flashlight, headlamp, bike light, lantern, emergency light and task light.
PAL is durable and strong enough to withstand harsh environments, making it an ideal lighting solution for outdoor enthusiasts and adventure lovers. Yet its sleek and intuitive design makes it the perfect companion for everyday household use.
Owning multiple personal lighting products and dealing with AA, AAA and a myriad of specialty batteries can be frustrating. With PAL, battery management hassles are eliminated. PAL has two self-contained, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that can be charged via the cord-free wall charging station or micro USB port, so it’s always ready when the user needs it most.
PAL boasts 350 lumens of brightness, yet it is compact enough to store in a pocket, backpack, purse or a car’s center console. PAL boasts a number of breakthrough features:
· PAL’s innovative, patented twist-lock design – a three-part locking mechanism comprised of magnetic, mechanical and electrical components – provides a robust connection to all accessories.
· Designed to connect to a sleek wall-charging mount, users no longer have to fight with tangled charging cables that never seem to be around when needed.
· “Power-coupling” allows battery equipped accessories to recharge PAL, and provide prolonged run time. Additionally, power-coupled accessories serve as remote battery packs for on-the-go charging of other devices.
· PAL implements dedicated button functions, so users can choose between not only on/off, but also brightness control, SOS mode, and flood/spot mode.
· A magnetic connection on the back of PAL allows it to connect to nearly any metal surface.
Thirty Third Parallel designed PAL to address the problems associated with mobility, convenience, durability, battery maintenance and economics – delivering a comprehensive lighting system, unmatched by single-use lighting products on the market.
The PAL system is priced at $89 for the base system. Thirty Third Parallel is taking pre-orders on Kickstarter at goo.gl/uioYHU. For more information about PAL and other Thirty Third Parallel projects, visit www.33parallel.com.
