Cincinnati indie comic book publisher, Beeswax News, announces the upcoming release of “WASP vs KILLER BEES Episode I: Bee Ready Or Not”, a new comic book series for children and the whole family. The Winged Allies of Stinging Power (WASP) made up of the Sweet Honey Bees, Rumble Bumble Bees and Dragonflies to Butterflies, have joined forces to stop the dreaded Killer Bees and the Strange Humans from taking over the world!
The humorous adventure is set in the Deep Dark Rainforest of Brazil and features the character group, “Thee Bees”, a bunch of blessed buzzing buddies and bandits. The action begins when Dr. Yuc’s super-powered Killer Bees have accidentally been released by his sidekick, I.B. Wong, one day before L. General has announced her arrival and pick-up of her little winged army.
The story and characters offer children and families wholesome reading material and a positive character group. Thee Bees and the comic book series are fun, adventurous, witty and humorous and is written on several different levels so both kids and grown-ups will be able to enjoy the comedy.
The first episode will be printed as a full color 32 page comic book with future episodes and a prequel to follow. Some merchandise related to the comic book include, soft-sculptured Thee Bees plush dolls, original art, collectible trading cards, and a comic coloring book for the little ones.
