Portland, OR – On February 22 2016, Adam Reiter launched a Kickstarter campaign for The Suck Less Job Search, a new book that will help take the SUCK out of your job search and land the right offers from the employers you really want to work for.

“I’ve spent my career helping senior executives, talented professionals and new graduates find their dream jobs,” explains the creator, “Their job searches were slow, stalled or even DOA before we met; after just a few weeks of working together, they landed jobs they wanted. And they loved the work we did together. I bottled up the best step-by-step advice from these one-on-one sessions into 120 action-packed pages, just for you. Take it and run.”

Reiter admits that most job search advice is terrible. Job searches are miserable, and he could spend every hour of every day advising job seekers and wouldn’t scratch the surface of the need in this area. In order to reach as many people as possible with this message, Reiter launched this Kickstarter campaign so he could help job seekers take back control of their search. Everyday people ask for his help to find great jobs but they simply can’t afford his services. Even with the 10 hours a week that he sets aside for pro bono work, the demand for real help for job seekers is huge. Many of these people have been struggling for months and sometimes, years.

“My goal is to get this book in the hands of every job seeker. My funding goal will generate enough cash to pay for the cost of publishing to get a copy of The Suck Less Job Search to 500 colleges and universities across the country to help new grads and alumni,” Reiter says, “After that mission has been achieved, I will be giving this book away for FREE to anyone that needs help in their search.”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including a pre-release digital copy of The Suck Less Job Search for $1, a custom resume critique and a digital copy of the book for $25, and much more. Backers can also pledge $50 for all previous rewards plus a phone consultation about LinkedIn.com and how to drive job offers or $100 for all previous rewards and a 30-minute Career Coaching Session.
