The new Christmas globes, called Ornamental, are created to keep the essence of the festive season – but to sweep away the commercial glitter of the older generations. 10 untraditional graphical themes adjusted to the population of the 21st century are now available.

Ornamental puts an end to past traditional notion of Christmas globes. The new design gives you silicone hangers and quality plastic balls which ensure the high quality – spiced up with graphics for you, your family and your home.

Ornamental offers a variety of funny, provocative and “spooky” themes such as Twirly, Comic Comments and Deadly, targeted both men and women. Additionally Ornamental offers a Do-It-Yourself Christmas globe – a blank version which encourages children (or the inner child) to help decorating a perfect customized and personalized Ornamental decoration for the Christmas tree.

Who?
Ornamental is the latest creation from DN Group, a Danish group of professional industrial designers (Frederick Rickmann, Jakob Normand and Lars L. Christensen), who design and develop products for a select range of global clients. Usually very technical stuff, like telephone handsets, industrial machines, forklift trucks and smaller stuff like cleaning aids for iPhones.
A late friday afternoon they were discussing the lack of innovative and personal Christmas ornaments today. This was the starting point for Ornamental.
This launch today primarily focusses on quality, design and functionality, matched to the younger generation with strong self-awareness and a will to make your personal touch to every small detail at home.
