The Production
Patrick Dennis Flanagan collaborated with Sam Sullivan and Ross Campbell Howard (Flanagan’s Cousin) to write the short film based on the popular DC Comics character. “Iris” was produced by Mike Mayhall and Leticia Jimenez. The trio (Patrick, Sam, and Ross) are in the process of writing the sequel to ‘Iris’.

“I’ve been a huge fan of comics since before I could read. My mother eventually took me to my first comic book shop and when I was young hand made me my very own (Barry Allen) Flash costume. When I began acting my childhood dream of being a superhero became a dream of playing a superhero on stage or screen. Thanks to all that were involved in helping make “Iris” a reality I was able to do that. I am so grateful for the experience and look forward to making another.”

Patrick Dennis Flanagan comes from a loving and talented family where his mother and father were instrumental in encouraging him and his sisters to always pursue their dreams. Patrick was recently cast in Jason Murphy and Tony Giordano’s feature film, “The Unbroken”. He costarred along with Aurelia Riley, Daniel Baldwin, and Warwick Davis. Patrick just wrapped production on writer/director/producer, Mike Mayhall’s highly anticipated thriller, ‘Jake’s Road’. Another recent role for Patrick was of ‘E.B. Wheeler’ for the History Channel’s newest series “Bonnie and Clyde: Dead and Alive” where Patrick had the opportunity of working with acclaimed director Bruce Beresford.

Sam Sullivan is a veteran filmmaker with 25 years of industry experience. Since graduating from the
Masters in Film Program at Howard University, Sam has produced and directed films for major corporations and nonprofits. He co-wrote the SyFy Channel feature “Mutants” starring Michael Ironsides and Steven Bauer. He recently co-produced and directed the 2nd Unit of the Mayhem Productions feature “Jakes’s Road” written, produced and directed by Mike Mayhall. He is currently developing his feature faith-based script entitled “The Drum” and future webisodes of ‘Iris’.
