After she was not accepted into nursing school, Blossom C Brown, won national attention when she appeared in Season 1 of Caitlyn Jenner’s docu-series “I Am Cait,” and later on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Los Angeles, CA — Official Blossom Doc is excited to announce the launch of their campaign for a documentary entitled, “Blossom”.

“Blossom” is an eye-opening and inspiring story about a transgender woman of color, Blossom C. Brown and her quest in getting answers about her past. The documentary will help people see the trans community through a different lens and bring awareness to the injustices in the LGBTQ community.

Getting the answers as to why she was denied entry into nursing school will hopefully create a way for other trans women of color to be able to go to nursing school in Mississippi. The film will also follow our star as she starts a career in acting, producing, and becoming a voice in the transgender community.

{We have set our goal at $5500 which will help us tremendously, we need your support to help us get this film edited and out to film festivals. We truly believe Blossom’s story will bring light to not only the trans community and trans women of color but it will help those in and outside the LGBTQ community that have had so many doors closed on them see that no matter the circumstance they too can find a way to fulfill their dreams.

We do hope to raise even more so we can devote a bigger part of our time to this project and make our journey to Mississippi where we will interview Blossom’s family and the faculty of Mississippi University for Women and try to get answers as to why she wasn’t accepted into nursing school.
