Anaheim, CA — An Orange County artist wants you to belly up to his breakfast bar and tuck into some nostalgic classics.

• Artist’s nostalgic breakfast scramble comes in three varieties — all extra pulpy
• With movie and cereal mashup, Orange County recaptures Saturday mornings for grown-up kids
• Fan combines cosplay, pulp action and that Saturday-morning-cereal feeling in new Kickstarter T-shirt project

Francis Te and his company, Tee No Evil, are creating three new T-shirts, combining kids’ cereals, pulp-movie fandom and fan-favorite cosplayers, through the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.

Te worked with tattooed cosplayers Erica Fett, Lua Stardust and Neptune to pull off the project. Each of the three shirts features one of the fan favorites in full costume pulled straight from grindhouse celluloid.

“We’re excited to work with our cosplayer pals — they’re as nerdy as we are,” Te said.

Campaign backers will receive their shirts in custom cereal boxes – each an homage to a sugary cereal from childhood mornings.

“We’re putting each shirt in a custom cereal box to make the reward special. We want them to have a memorable experience just like the unforgettable feeling we had watching Saturday morning cartoons while eating cereal,” he added.

Tee No Evil will raise $10,000 during the Kickstarter campaign, which will run for 30 days from March 15, 2019 – April 14, 2019. In addition to the shirts, supporters will can also grab enamel pins, a digital coloring book, original artwork and exclusive photos of the cosplayers. “We have plenty of fun rewards that backers can choose starting at $1,” Te said.

“This is a passion project for all of us. We talked about it for a year and we’re excited with the designs and rewards. We’re big fans of movies and kids’ cereals. We’re happy to combine them both,” Te said.
