Vyuveratti – an advanced fabric research and development startup has developed a cotton hybrid fabric that remains odorless for as long as 10 days with a single wash. The startup plans to launch it’s first line of anti odor t shirts with an Indiegogo campaign starting December 10, 2013.
SilverAir is closing in on $170,000 with their Silver infused gym wear. Atlas socks made from coffee raised over $200,000. Wool&Prince crossed $300,000 with their no wash wool shirts. All these products addressed the same problem – people hate clothes that smell bad.
The youngest entrant in this odorless space is Vyuveratti – which has developed affordable anti odor t-shirts through a fusion of coffee & cotton fibres. The company has created a Prefundia page for potential supporters and backers to know more about the project and be notified the instant their campaign goes live:

Coffee is no stranger to odor neutralization. We have all experienced its incredible smell neutralization powers when we’re out shopping for perfumes & want to differentiate one brand from the other.
Vyuveratti is bringing the same experience to apparel with t-shirts that remain odor free for as long as 10 days with a single wash.
“We wanted to build something that people on the move can easily use. It’s probably the best thing if you’re going out on camping trips, protest marches, college parties where people splash beer at each other – or if you just sweat a lot” said Nikhil Mehra, a co-founder of the company.
The startup has also come up with an interesting reward strategy for it’s backers to build momentum:
- First 25 backers get the t shirt free and pay only a $4 shipping fee
- Next 100 backers get the t shirt for $19 against suggested retail price of $35
- Following backers get the t shirt for $22 against suggested retail price of $35
Vyuveratti’s t-shirts are truly global – Yarn from India | Designed in Paris | Stitched in USA
Stitching a t shirt costs about $8.50 in the US, $1.50 in India and $0.9 in Bangladesh. So, why did the company decide to bring manufacturing its t shirts to the USA?
“We think its an important part of our overall strategy. If we’re selling something to Americans, we should do our little bit to support the local economy. We consider it an ethical business practice. Not to mention that there is a noticeable difference in quality and finish when you get something made here” added Nikhil.
Will this be the next BIG thing that supporters and backers love? Vyuveratti appears confident.
Go ahead – visit the Prefundia page and sign up to be notified at launch. If you’re one of the first 25 backers, you can get the t shirt at a ridiculous price of just $4.
