Syntropy – a unique wellbeing app utilising the power of abstract and psychedelic art and music.
Body: Birmingham,UK – 07/10/2022 — Syntropy, a digital arts for wellbeing start-up has launched a Kickstarter campaign to commission international artists and musicians.
Syntropy is a unique wellbeing app that utilises the power of abstract and psychedelic art and mood enhancing music videos to help you de-stress, relax and re-balance any time, any place. Central to Syntropy’s approach is their innovative content commissioning model which empowers international artists and musicians to collaborate and co-create video artworks across borders.
Syntropy is so effective because it blends art with science. The video artworks commissioned and showcased within the app employ the scientifically proven benefits of:
Abstract/Psychedelic art therapy
Therapeutic benefits of slow and rhythmic music
Coherence breathwork
Focused Attention Meditation (FAM)
Positive emotion regulation
Stress, anxiety and depression are the biggest health conditions globally. Now more than ever we need simple, effective, widely available and affordable solutions to the mental health pandemic. Enter the artists and musicians!
Allie Joy, Creative Director of Syntropy explains:
“Syntropy’s mission is to encourage and empower artists to step up and play a leading role in wellbeing. Artists and musicians struggle to find ways to collaborate, and the Covid pandemic, lockdowns and travel restrictions made this even more difficult. So last year, the idea for Syntropy took shape and we found a way to help artists and musicians collaborate across international boundaries with the aim of creating beautiful art and music that would help people manage their wellbeing. What we’re doing and the way we’re doing it is new and exciting, but to grow we need to raise funds to pay for amazing creative talent. ”
Syntropy States regularly places open calls via the submission platform Zealous. When artists and musicians express their interest and submit their samples, the Syntropy States team then personally curate and “match-make” an artist with a musician, and commission them both to co-create audiovisual artworks.
Dan Jackson, Marketing Manager at Zealous says: “What sets Syntropy apart from other wellbeing apps is that they support emerging international artists, allowing users to experience a heightened sense of wellbeing whilst positively impacting and supporting artists across the globe. We’re happy to support Syntropy with our submissions platform in order to facilitate this dynamic and collaborative approach whilst also making the submissions process more accessible.”
