Hyperion Ensemble is Chamber music ensemble which has attained universal prominence due to the openness, force and originality of its creations, being considered, from USA to Japan, and from South Africa to Chile or Korea, as the laboratory of daring and original musical contributions. Renewed once more, Hyperion International is today a reunion of musicians from all over the world.
This year Hyperion International ensemble is once more invited to perform in the George Enescu festival. But due to massive cuts in fundings the festival will be unable to support the artists journey from different countries to Bucharest. We are an International ensemble, with members from Romania, France, USA, UK, Israel, Germany… In order to rehearse and give concerts we need to travel!
The idea of gathering together artists from different backgrounds, different musical cultures, sharing their skills together in rehearsals and concerts of innovative music is brilliant and rewarding., that’s why we need your support!
This project encourages to develop a common international musical space and provide the audience with better access, understanding and reception of the actual music. It encourage the mobility of artists and artistic exchange, the transnational dissemination of works incorporating digital technologies and innovative artistic practices It will foster the dialogue of artists – performers, composers and audiences.
