Jesus’ First Sermon to be Initial Installment of Animated Bible Series

May 17, 2019 – Los Angeles, CA  Family-friendly digital media and entertainment startup SUPERNAL announced today the upcoming release of the Sermon on the Mount, which will be the first in its series: Animated Teachings of Jesus. Animations will bring to life Matthew chapters 5-7 of the New Testament of the Bible. The release is anticipated for early in the third quarter of 2019.

The series will appeal to the whole family. The animation will attract children as viewers, while adults can listen to it in the background as an “audio bible.” A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway for this production, and at the time of this article was 67% funded. Contributors are offered an advance copy of the video, in addition to a listing in the animation’s end credits as a producer.

“SUPERNAL is a family-friendly studio with a mission to spread inspiration and joy in bite-sized, shareable, evergreen content. Although we are not explicitly religious with all of our projects, the Sermon on the Mount fits nicely in our creative portfolio,” states Christopher DeHau Lee, President of SUPERNAL. “Upcoming projects include Aesop’s Fables and a series about puppies – because who doesn’t like puppies?”

“We are particularly excited about the fantastic response to our Kickstarter campaign, which surpassed the 50% funding mark in just a few days,” continued Lee. “Kudos to Craig Everett, who is a SUPERNAL board member and crowdfunding expert. He is running our crowdfunding campaign and we couldn’t be happier with the results.”

Dr. Everett is a finance professor who teaches Entrepreneurial Finance and Film Finance in the MBA program of a prominent university in the Los Angeles area.

“Chris was one of my most impressive MBA students,” states Dr. Everett. “He and I have been talking for years about someday doing a project together, so we are excited that it is finally happening. Chris brings tremendous entertainment industry experience to SUPERNAL. I am certain that this venture will be very successful.”
