Capable #1 & #2: A Superhero Comic Book Series -A full color superhero comic book series with 24 pages of story in each issue. For mature readers.
Synopsis:
This campaign focuses on the first 2 issues of a new comic book series called CAPABLE. Imagine one day people around the world with disabilities wake up with superpowers that are opposite of what their handicap was. The title will explore how some people will use these powers.
Capable #1:
Derik Davidson is just an average high school kid. He’s awkward, shy, bullied, and he uses a wheelchair. But one day Derik suddenly has the ability to run super fast! What will Derik do with his new power and what happens when more people wake up capable?!
Capable #2:
After experiencing a tragic loss, Derik doesn’t have much time to dwell before he has to spring into action The first bad-guy of the series is introduced and this guy is fully armed! While Derik is hard at work saving the day, another person in his life learns of their own newly found superpower and its a big eye opener.
Who is the creator?
Jonathan Hedrick is the writer & creator of CAPABLE. His previous comic FREAKSHOW PRINCESS was successfully funded earlier this year and will be published soon in an anthology released by Caliber Comics. Jonathan is also the writer for THE RECOUNT, coming soon from Scout Comics.
How will the funds bring it to life?
Your funding will help go to the distribution (i.e. packaging and shipping) of the rewards. With issue 1 completed and issue 2 nearly finished, all there is left is to print and mail it to you. Any leftover funds will go to financing issue 3.
