My name is Nana Ofosu from Ghana in West Africa, born from a family of five, things were normal, at least not bad until the Covid19 pandemic struck in, that’s when everything turn upside down for me, my family and my community. I know this hardship was everywhere but ours has gone from bad to worse, there are basically no jobs in my country or community in particular and this has had a serious effect on us.
Let me start with me as an example, two years ago I got admission to go study in Germany, masters course, but when the covid19 struck in and border closure I could travel so I had to wait till the next year but my only guardian that is my father , passed away from this covid19, just 7months ago leaving me and my little brothers. Things has become very difficult since, rent issues, food and a whole lots, I lost my only job in February due to the same covid19
Since it is not only me who is suffering from this I decided to solicit for funds to help us buy equipment to work as freelancers and even helping outside business and local ones to bounce back, I am very scared of what people might do with this hardship.
I have set up air funding project and I am soliciting for your help either in kind, monetary or anyway you can help to assist not even my self my biggest concern my community. I have named my project and in future maybe NGO, SPARE A PENNY, SAVE A SOUL. We have all suffered from this pandemic am I am praying we overcome this, we all have lost loved ones one way or the other but we will surely overcome this with individual help.
