Good Dog, Bad Dog Games has announced the release of their first game, a card-based Space Warfare and Interplanetary Empire Building game called Solar Supremacy. Solar Supremacy is a card game based upon growing and defending your Glorious Empire, extending from the Homeworld planet to conquer all adversaries and rule the Solar System. Solar Supremacy is a dynamic card game encompassing many planets and other celestial bodies that can be invaded, defended, and mercilessly destroyed. Players strive to flourish and expand their Empire’s territory through economic maneuvers, forming diplomatic alliances, and commanding the ultimate space armada. With a single deck of cards, Solar Supremacy gives you the ability to:
– Physically expand your Empire’s territory (Empire Cards) and military might (Armada Cards) upon the playing surface, similar to classic war-based boardgames, but only needing a deck of cards that can fit in your pocket.
– Colonize, Invade, and Conquer other planets and celestial bodies in the Solar System.
– Command a fearsome Space Armada of tactical and specialized spaceships
– Physically destroy and reduce your enemy’s territory upon the playing surface.
– Use tactics, logistics and special abilities to assist with your warfare strategy or defense.
– Annihilate any and all friends and foes in YOUR Solar System.
– Increase your Empire’s wealth and diplomatic power to crush your enemies under the weight of your gold stockpile and/or allied economic and diplomatic strengths.
– Infiltrate, sabotage, and destroy your enemy (or friends) through covert operations.
– Erect a nearly impenetrable defense within your Empire and defeat your enemies through attrition and executing surprise attacks and sieges.
– Arrange and enhance your game deck through use of expansion packs and alternative game rule-sets to customize the gaming experience to your own preferences.
– Be able to play single player games, missions, and scenarios when you want to play, but don’t have any friends around.
