What inspired us to start SOFREGíT®?
Adrienne’s Children and Carla’s grand children, “Shea & Aliza” are the reason why! Coming from a long line of foodies and truly appreciating great food was the very beginning of my path on this journey. Getting the greatest gift of all time, was becoming a mom. Marrying the two together was beautiful but not so easy…
I feel every busy parent wants the best for their family but time is always the deciding factor as to whether or not you can provide a fresh meal with great flavor. My fresh herbs and produce would always go bad before I had a chance to use them which was very frustrating and frankly a waste of time and money! That is when the bells went off. Since the age of 16, I grew up on Carla’s (my mother in law) Puerto Rican Sofrito Recipe! She taught me of a fresh way to cook and flavor Spanish food and I in turn taught her the limitless cooking possibilities in working with a Sofrito concept!
Our Dream is simple. We want to teach busy families how to fall in love with cooking again! So they can focus less time prepping in the kitchen and more time at the dinner table. In life, “What is better than great food and family?”
The SOFREGÍT® fresh line consists of: Fresh Chopped; Herb & Vegetable Cooking Bases, A Scrumptious Garlic & Herb Vegan Mayo, Herb & Veggie infused Butter and Coconut Oil Blends for Cooking and spreading.
