Castle Island pictures was set up by Spanish filmmaker Miguel Almagro. “After working in the UK a decade and winning Best UK Short Film at the 2011 Festival of Performing Arts for his short film – The Woman and the Machine – I moved to Singapore with the aim of telling exciting stories rooted in the rich mix of people, cultures and heritage of this young country.” said Miguel.

About the Sisters Islands
Located a short sail away from the Singapore mainland, the Sisters’ Islands’ beaches and warm blue waters are a favourite destination of local divers. They are popular with picnickers and day campers. The islands are also home to some of Singapore’s richest reefs. The two islands are separated by a narrow channel, with the currents through this channel dangerous to swimmers and divers.
