ShoppeThat.com – a new online marketplace is seeking Beta Testers & running a crowdfunding campaign.

ShoppeThat is running Beta tests & Crowdfunding via the LaunchLeader platform. ShoppeThat is an online marketplace that serves ALL categories with a “Mall” image at a low rate, with simplicity, transparency & better multi-channel tools for merchants.

The first feature being introduced in our Beta Test is a new listing importer system. This allows merchants to import in bulk their inventory from Bonanza.com, Etsy, Google Shopping feeds & even the Feeds for (now closed) TheFind with eBay Turbo Lister & File Exchange, Amazon listing & inventory loaders, Amazon Pro Webstore feed export & many more formats coming later plus bulk editing features. These tools urgently need testers to be developed properly. (live versions for some formats already exist but need testing)

The beta also includes a site redesign, some advertising systems & more. These will be launched in specific release groups over the course of the Beta.

• During the first part of this Beta the site is 100% Free to merchants. We monetize later in Beta!

• Merchant’s items are live – the site is functional for selling as of this moment – upload a store with 2500 items as part of the test – those items are live & for sale.

• Merchants MUST be based in the US for now – this restriction will be lifted sometime after Beta.

• This is interactive – contact merchantsupport@shoppethat.com to report bugs or ask any questions.

To help accelerate this this Beta/MVP stage, ShoppeThat is participating in a Crowdfunding Contest for applicants to the Revtech Startup Accelerator in Dallas which is focused on Restaurants & Retail. The contest is organized between Revtech & Launch Leader (SIVI) a new donation based crowdfunding platform. Although the contest close date is June 2 the crowdfund campaign will continue after the close of the contest as Launch Leader campaigns are 30 days long.

Disclaimer: Neither ShoppeThat or I are in any way affiliated with either Revtech or SIVI.

More details about the Crowdfund can be found on the LaunchLeader Profile as well the Announcement on the ShoppeThat Merchant Blog. Donations can be made on the LaunchLeader Profile which also contains a YouTube video.

Migrations are easy however sellers must have PayPal set up first. These tools so far can import thousands of items at once although this takes several hours but once the user clicks the actual “import” button the process is automatic and the merchant can even shut down their computer.

TheFind Migration – TheFind closed back in April, however ShoppeThat now has an importer to accept the exact same format(most recent Google Version) as merchants were submitting to TheFind. TheFind claimed to have over 500 Million items from over 500 thousand stores, that’s plenty of displaced stores for which we are happy to fill the gap. A merchant can upload their feed that was created by their cart software or other means.

Bonanza Migration – Bonanza recently added an inventory export feature which can be found on their blog. Our new importer can read that csv file as well the ones used by some merchants to bulk upload or update their inventory. This was a feature requested by many merchants in previous discussions & market research.

Etsy Migration – Etsy sellers can easily import their shop’s items with our Etsy importer. The Etsy inventory download file can be downloaded in an Etsy shop. The importer uploads this file. Our importer form lets merchants apply more data such as shipping & payment processors globally to their imports.

eBay – We also have an older third-party eBay importer. This will be replaced with a new in-house importer as part the importer system which will work with the TurboLister CSV file program a similar solution will be made for eBid & Ninja Lister. For now merchants can use the old third party eBay tool. All but the eBay tool are found as options in the drop-down menu on the the new “importer system” page. Support for a queue & cross-platform synchronization of sold items is also planned.

We need testers to properly develop these importers & refine them as well the other upcoming features. By crowdfunding we can further accelerate this Beta stage and proceed to our full vision.

ShoppeThat will be very happy respond to questions about this announcement and can be reached at support@shoppethat.com.
