Sharoont is an in-development video sharing platform aiming to create a censorship-free experience for creators! We also want to correct the issues with major video sharing platforms regarding the lack of unique and genuine support to all creators/viewers! We’ve just launched a Kickstarter campaign to help with the fees to bring creators/viewers more tools and features to use on our platform, as well as, refine the features already existing.
This project is more then just money to me, I see an issue something that I feel is wrong with major platforms like YouTube, and feel the need to correct it, which is why I will not be receiving and finances myself, even when the project kicks off, I’ll only pay those who work for me. Sharoont is more then just some project, it’s a passion and something I’ve grown fond of, we unlike many other platforms in our niche, take up suggestions from you, the community to help decide features to implement, then use the Twitter polls function to help solidify the want for this feature.
The money will be going toward everything it says on the campaign, our cheapest pledge is $1.00 USD, we believe everyone should be given the opportunity to pledge and gain the “rewards”, we know this may take longer to get to our goals, but we think in the long-run it’s worth it. We value each any every person, we value your right to express yourself (legally), and we value your right to commentate on public interests and people without being censored due to community bias.
