Selfie – When You Cross the Line, is a short film, about a lonely man. But let’s start from our society first.

Selfies are a worldwide social trend this moment. You can see them everywhere, from social media sites, to TV news and newspapers. Most of the people report which selfie a celebrity did and sometimes, they try to reproduce it. All this big fuzz though, about an act of someone in their private moments and all of this enthusiasm about selfies, drove us into decide to create a film about this whole thing. Almost everybody takes a selfie nowadays whenever they go.  Is an overestimated act of our modern society. But, what happens when you exaggerate and become obsessed with it?

Our main character is, as we mention before, a lonely man. Driven by his despair, he tries to change his life, to become more social. To achieve that, he creates accounts on social media sites and starts to develop his new habit. Taking selfies. After a short amount of time, he becomes obsessed about this whole selfie thing, so everyday he is doing more and more dangerous stuff.

In order to create our movie, as we dreamed about it, we need your help. We need you, so we can finance some areas that we can’t do ourselves. By entering our campaign site, you will see all the perks available, just to pay back something for your love. “Selfie – When You Cross the Line” will be a major hit for our societies and food for thought, for all of us. Our campaign will be live until April the 15th and we calculate that will be at your local film festival arround the world, starting from June.

Born and raised in Greece. After graduated from University of Patras, department of Theater and Cinema Studies in 2012, I decided to choose the video industry as a profession. I've shot lots of commercials and event videos for local businesses, always keeping in mind shooting film. Lot of experimentation with short movies, most of the times with funny content. So, after managed to get my technical skills to a certain level, I think it's my chance to make a film with "some" budget.
