If you have used a keychain or a bottle opener before, you have probably felt our frustration. Most of the keychains today are generally made as a cheap after thought accessory. When we started working on Alpha, we wanted to create something more than just a keychain. We wanted to create a product that compliments your other carry-ons like your iPhone or wallet.
That’s why we designed Alpha – Simple to use, quick bottle opener, and it is customizable with a leather strap. We didn’t stop there, it’s precision machined from solid aluminum and comes in a beautiful set of surface finishes, setting a new bar for quality and something that looks really good on your belt loop.
Quality matters
Alpha is CNC machined from solid aircraft grade aluminum, the same kind of metal that is used in Apple products. The result is a level of precision that cannot be achieved through molding. We could have easily made them cheaper with injection molds, or simply made in China. This is something we want for ourselves because we appreciate good craftsmanship. 7700 aluminum has memory bend, this will ensure your Alpha will stay in its original shape in different conditions and pressure points.
Beautiful Finishes
Our team worked with Advanced Finishing Systems to create the beautiful finish you find in Apple aluminum unibody. Each Alpha is clear-coat anodized by hand, dipped in specific dye, and finished with a nickel sealer creating a beautiful matte surface design. You will have color choices of Red, Gold, Blue, Silver, Black all in beautiful matt finishes.
Machined and Assembled in Virginia
- CNC production – Our team member Laurence Mayer will run the CNC line for Alpha. He has owned his machine shop over 30 years in gloucter, Virginia.
- Anodizing – Alpha will be coated at our family owned shop, Advanced Finishing Systems. Pick your favorite color coating for protection and longevity.
- Leather craft – Our team member John will handle the leather craft straps for Alpha. He has owned his shop for over 20 years in Newport News, Virginia. The leather straps are going to be made from 100% soft italian leather.
- Customization – Contrast between multiple color options for anodizing, and the leather strap.
- Security – Never lose your keys again with optional embossing on the leather. Having your full name and cell number on Alpha provides assurance for your precious keys.
