Kickstarter campaign will help raise funds needed to create app that will build stronger information sharing between families and childcare providers.

ATLANTA, GA – Nov. 5, 2014 – A new app seeking funding through Kickstarter shines a spotlight on the lack of parent-focused technology applications on the market today.  MomBrilliance founders and new parents, Kelly and Will Hamilton, sought to create a technology that could improve communication between caregivers and families.

“Working moms and dads are looking for better ways to communicate with their caregivers and receive insights into their children’s day – from their nap schedule to a snapshot of a smile,” said Kelly Hamilton, Co-Founder. “MomBrilliance facilitates that exchange securely and in real-time – something caregivers today would need multiple apps (or paper and a pen) to do.”

Centered on a belief that effective communication between parents and caregivers improves care, MomBrilliance seeks to connect and share information, milestones and moments. Parents can use the app to communicate with unlimited caregivers, from grandparents to childcare centers. While childcare centers can use the technology to simplify classroom day-to-day operations giving teachers more time with each child. In short, it is a mom app that is childcare center software. Other functionality includes:

● Secure, real-time updates: Connects parents to all their preferred childcare providers (childcare centers, nannies, baby     sitters, family, etc.).

● Access to crucial details: Give childcare providers 24/7 access to parental preferences, typical schedule, emergency contact information, and more.

● Receive photos and learning updates throughout the day: Allow childcare providers to share the special moments that happen every day so you never miss a thing.

● Easy to use: Familiar, intuitive interface that works like you would expect it to.

● Create highlight reel: Track your child’s development and important milestones with the help of childcare providers or post updates and photos yourself.

● Connect on any device: MomBrilliance can be accessed and updated on all computers, tablets, and smartphones.

To ensure this app becomes a reality, MomBrilliance has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the $20,000 needed to complete development of the app and ensure the security is in place to keep information about your children safe. The campaign runs until 9:00 pm ET, December 2, 2014. In order to get involved consider backing the project and sharing this link widely. Follow @mombrilliance on Twitter for updates.

About MomBrilliance

MomBrilliance is a communication tool that replaces daily sheets or report cards, simplifies childcare center operations, and builds stronger relationships between child care providers and parents. The technology is designed as a single, simple communication exchange where caregivers and parents can share emergency contact information, health, household, and feeding/nap schedule information.

Kelly and Will Hamilton met at the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. Kelly focused on software sales and marketing while Will built a career in finance. Their complimentary skills make them a great co-founding team, and a move to Atlanta exposed them to a thriving startup community, but it was their first child, Hank, that served as the inspiration for MomBrilliance.
