Australian company LOLL has designed a shark poncho towel via Kickstarter. The Shark poncho towels are available in blue and grey and are designed look like you have been eaten by a shark!
The shark ponchos were inspired by seeing the kids on the beach running around with animal hooded towels on, founder Lara Solomon says, “Sometimes as grownups we forget that life is meant to be fun, and dressing up is part of that. This LOLL shark poncho towel is practical in that you can use it as a towel, a changing room and a coverup, but also the shark aspect adds the fun!”
LOLL the company behind the Shark poncho towels has been around since 2016 with a range of poncho towels for grownups that are slightly different to what else is out there – they have a zip down each side so they can be worn like a poncho or unzipped to lie on flat like a towel. Plus there are 2 internal pockets for a mobile, keys and more – which makes heading to the beach or pool very easy.
Made from 100% cotton, the towels are machine washable. The one size will fit most sizes of adult at 80cm wide and 110cm long.
The shark towel kickstarter campaign has pledges for just 1 shark poncho towel, a matching set, or you can even name a shark design and get featured on the website and packaging. Shipping is available worldwide and with delivery in time for the Northern hemisphere summer this has got to be the must have beach accessory this summer!
The shark poncho towels campaign ends on April 16th, if funded they will be produced and then 5% of all sales will be donated to Shark Savers to help prevent sharks becoming soup.
