Utilizing professional wrestling as a tool for positive change in our communities: That’s what Route 33 Wrestling is all about.
Route 33 Wrestling is a Spencer, WV-based professional wrestling company founded and directed by professional stuntwoman and pro wrestler in-training Jessi Cosgrove. Jessi started Route 33 Wrestling in 2018 not only to bring high-quality entertainment to Spencer, WV, but to utilize professional wrestling as a tool for positive change.
This campaign seeks to help fund Route 33 Wrestling’s 2019 show season. As a community-centered company, we seek to make a positive impact on those around us by hosting benefit shows and donation drives, which requires extra support from our backers. In 2018, we not only donated our concession profits to a local academic team to fund their field trip, but we also gathered over 600 school supplies during School Yard Throwdown, a show that doubled as a school supply drive. This year, we hope to raise funds for RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, and collect supply donations for Roane Animal Shelter. Your contributions can help us help our community!
We’d also like to highlight two of our more unique opportunities: our “Adopt-a-Wrestler” option, and our season ticket sponsorship.
By “adopting” a wrestler, you are helping us to continue to compensate our hardworking athletes well! A lot of professional wrestling companies have a bad reputation of ripping off the people who literally put their necks on the line for your entertainment. One of the major goals of Route 33 Wrestling is to always ensure our wrestlers, referees, announcers, and crew are well-paid. Additionally, the wrestler you “adopt” will give you a shout out, either on social media or in-ring!
Another option allows backers to sponsor season tickets for a family of four. This is an excellent way to give back and show support for our community.
