It’s time to eliminate the inefficiencies around expanding the amount of storage that is available on all of your devices. Whether it’s your laptop, tablet or smartphone, Pan Labs, LLC has created the ROOK – A wirelessly accessible means for expanding your devices memory.
Cincinnati, OH – A Cincinnati-based group, Pan Labs, LLC, is aiming to change the way that you backup and store content, and ultimately share that content between your devices. With Rook, they hope to ease the pain associated with getting more storage for all of your important information and data. There are plenty of ways users can expand their memory on their devices, but Pan Labs, LLC believes that there isn’t a solution available that is 1.) Convenient 2.) Affordable 3.) Truly revolutionary.
“Personally, 100% of the people I talk to with an iphone or ipad can relate to the ‘storage full’ popup that so dauntingly reminds us on a daily basis,” says Steve Peele II. “The problem is that when you buy these mobile devices, you’re forced to decide your storage capacity right then and there. Often times, you don’t think about what will happen a few months down the line when you run out of space… We’ve all been there.”
Touting up to an additional 128 gigabytes of storage for mobile devices, Rook will allow users to seamlessly and simultaneously backup, transfer and manage all of their important information without the use of a physical connection.
“When we built Rook,” says Josh Bonomini (CEO), “We knew that the experience needed to be flawless. Technology should truly enhance the users’ experience, and almost feel like ‘magic’. That’s what I think we’ve built. A magical experience that allows iphone and ipad users to not worry about storing all of life’s important moments and pieces of content.”
The Pan Labs, LLC team has since launched a Kickstarter to help raise funds to bring Rook into production. “We’re excited about using a crowdfunding platform,” Says Peele. “The thing about using this platform that we’re most excited about is bringing the community together to help make this the most successful it can be. The beauty of it all will be leveraging the feedback, suggestions and input from our backers to make this device greater than we could ever even imagine.”
Finalist for the Brandery in Cincinnati, OH and Uptech in Covington, KY, Pan Labs, LLC will use the kickstarter funds to bring Rook to consumers by as early as Spring 2016.
