Philadelphia, PA: As of January 6th, 2014, local Philly artists’ Nathan Allebach and Rachel Moyer have come from contrasting musical backgrounds with a common tone to create this debut album. The sound involved differs as much as the goals in production, gearing towards new age, southern rock genres, and mixing post-modern indie production, all while creating a community of collaborative arts and minds to form ongoing ideas through the autumn-scheduled release.
In a world of flooded markets and waves of talent, it becomes more and more difficult for young artists to implement their goals onto culture without drowning. The concept of ‘crowdfunding’ has revolutionized the promotional uses of social media and created a fill for these growing needs, but still leaves a gaping stretch of hard work and luck to fill. To designate a target market and make them see the heart of your vision and want to become a part of that is an increasingly challenging task and learning curve, but rising up with the band banner of ‘Nathan Earl and Rachel Joy’, this promising young couple brings a realist mind and dreamer heart to our east coast music scene.
“The Kickstarter itself is a platform for not only our name and goals, but that of those surrounding us who have shown equally gifted ideas in need of a jumping point” quoted Nathan. “Between Rachel and myself, we have more than enough connections to network the dots together not only for ourselves, but anyone wanting to be part of our team coming through the Philadelphia region.”
