Up and Coming Company Offers Supporters the Chance To “Start A Revolution” by Crowdfunding Inclusive Apparel Line Up.

Washington, DC — After two and a half years in business, the apparel and lifestyle company From Thick to Thin has gained an impressive following of fans worldwide with the release of a fun and motivational line of workout apparel designed for all sizes, shapes, and body types. As momentum grew, the mission quickly became to revolutionize an industry that tends to be exclusive rather than inclusive. After hitting limits with printing on current existing apparel and no control over quality and sizing, From Thick to Thin has taken the feedback of their core fan base and launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the design of their own apparel line with a size range from XS-5XL. In contrast to other companies currently on the market, all apparel will be at the same price point regardless of sizing and is modeled after the feedback from a largely overlooked population.

“Until this point, From Thick to Thin was printing on apparel we purchased from existing wholesalers who won’t fix a sizing or function issue if it arises. Not being able to have control of length, fit, size, or design is a huge point of contention and frustration for us. It makes me feel like I am unable to give people what they really want and NEED. So we found a design team, a manufacturing company, and almost a year ago, started working with our customers to bring them clothing they WANT,” said founder Andrea Kuchinski. “Because it takes time, money, and support to do this, we went to Kickstarter in the hopes of bringing the vision and this movement to life.”

Kickstarter is the largest funding platform for creative entrepreneurs in the world. Each day, tens of thousands of people become backers of projects by pledging funds, thus becoming the “earliest adopters” of new, innovative products and companies. When From Thick to Thin discovered Kickstarter, they immediately recognized it as a funding strategy that fell in sync with both their own and their customers’ motivation to start a revolution in the fitness apparel industry.

“Our campaign on Kickstarter is a huge part of our future. Up until now, we have been able to hold the status quo by printing on and producing inventory on a limited stock basis. We continue to have the designs ideas and the feedback. Now, the idea of having the resources to release a full line of OUR products means everything to us and our customers,” said Kuchinski. “Our mission as a company is to spread the message that We Are All Athletes and this campaign will help us start a revolution on the large scale we know is needed.”
