London, UK — New Indiegogo campaign to launch London stand-up comedy show to help launch up-and-coming comedians.
London-based Antelope Entertainments produce comedy shows that are always of the highest quality, despite the often financial gambles. We always feature at least one comedy star, but also always feature up-and-coming comedians who may struggle to get a decent audience of their own. The stars bring in that audience, up-and-coming acts love being on the same bill as a star – and everyone’s happy. Indeed, we’d be hard-pressed to think of a performer who hasn’t loved doing one of our previous shows, and audience members seem to absolutely love the shows too!
However, to keep going, and continue to give a platform to up-and-coming acts as well as provide a great night out to audiences, we need help.
We are launching a show, which will be booked into a prime south London venue between November 2015 to February 2016 that if it at least covers its costs will hopefully become a regular fixture, giving ongoing fairly paid performance opportunities for numerous acts as well as a regular great night out for audiences. The show will feature at least one UK comedy star, and, as ever, we will only book acts for the show that we genuinely believe are excellent. We always strive to keep ticket prices down, to open up our shows to as many people as possible.
As we’ve put on shows like this a number of times before, we’re up to the challenge and know the hurdles, but, as we say, we need some help to realise what we hope will become an ongoing top quality comedy show that includes a star, but which introduces up-and-coming and lesser known performers who deserve more recognition too.
