Project-Nerd has launched its Kickstarter Campaign to raise money for the Cosplay Cookbook project that includes more than 18 cosplayers, 5 photographers, and 40 incredible recipes.
The Cosplay Cookbook is something the Project-Nerd team started discussing internally nearly two years ago, and now the timing, relationships, and funds have all lined up perfectly to make this the right time to launch.
Project-Nerd started the simple plan by imagining some of the most awesome, geeky, and fun recipes the team has ever tried and mixed them with their favorite comic inspired characters in brilliant scenes. The goal is to create a visually stunning book that is also filled with fool-proof, mouth-watering recipes.
The $30,000 Project-Nerd looks to raise for the Cosplay Cookbook will fund travel, costume builds, photography and design fees, publishing costs, and the many amazing perks available. Additional funding will allow the project to grow even more.
“Much like other great things, the Cosplay Cookbook started as a bit of a joke,” commented Iggy Michniacki, Founder of Project-Nerd. “It’s a project that ended up blossoming into so much more and is something we see as incredibly important.”
The perks for the Cosplay Cookbook include everything from prints to a fan-designed shirt to pre-ordering the cookbook itself. There’s even a perk to be a character in the cookbook.

About Crowdfunding:
Crowdfunding enables people with a great business idea to ask the general public for the funding they need to set up or expand. The business sets a target for the money it wants to raise and explains how it will use the cash. People can then make pledges for small amounts of money in return for a reward if the target is reached.
About Project-Nerd:
In early 2012, Iggy Michniacki moved his efforts beyond Blu-ray Review Site, Project-Blu, to carry on a few additional projects. One of those projects was Project-Nerd. Within a few months Project-Nerd surpassed all expectations and became an established name all its own. Now, just a few years later Project-Nerd houses Project-Blu and about a dozen other initiatives and projects from across the web. www.project-nerd.com
