On October 28th, 2014, Team Design Group of Yardley, PA launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their newest device, the “Roc. Dock.”
Originally an ergonomic mouse into which users would insert their smartphones, Team Design Group’s engineers revised the initial design and transformed it into a docking station for smartphones. With the installation of customized software, users can also make the Roc. Dock and their smartphones work together as a fully functional mouse.
“I’m excited that our team has put together such a professional launch for this new technology,” said Christopher Toner, President and CEO of Team Design Group.
As an integrated product development firm with over 20 years of experience, Team Design Group is thrilled to present its innovative device to the Kickstarter community. With the support of Kickstarter backers, Team Design Group’s campaign will cover the expenses for producing the tooling required for early production casework, working with outside vendors to fabricate, assemble, and test Printed Circuit Boards, and more.
