Noow introducing POD – the world’s first sustainable solution to cell phone surveillance. It’s unique case prevents the audio, visual and location tracking of your cell phone. The materials used are hemp and bamboo, designed to keep the NSA out your pocket, with privacy on Demand. Based out of Riverside, California, NFNP studios has developed this innovative product with the privacy of the consumer in mind.
The inner fabric used on the POD is a blend of bamboo and conductive silver thread. When your phone is placed inside and the lid is closed, POD creates a faraday cage or conductive shield around your phone. This shield causes wireless signals meant for cell phones to pass around the surface of the POD, preventing wireless signals from reaching your phone.
While our phones help us keep track of our lives, they’re also used to track our lives. They are highly engineered computers that ensure the highest possible reception levels, pinpoint our locations, direction of travel, recognize speech, faces and more. You can power down your phone, even remove the battery, but there are technologies able to keep tabs on our cellular phones. The potential and use of cell phones for surveillance devices is a no brainer – with their GPS, audio and video transceiving capabilities.
