Lansing, MI based plush designer Stefanie Shall launched her second plush doll project via crowdfunding website Kickstarter on Dec 11th in hopes to fund her new plush design. The plush is a supernatural black cat that hunts evil spirits in the dead of night and turns them into dead mice to present as a gift. Shall’s Kickstarter campaign funds successfully at $7,500 then has additional rewards and plush designs in the works at additional tiers, including Vincent the bogeyman chasing Skeleton at $10,000.
Shall isn’t a stranger to the Kickstarter process, in 2015 she had her first successful Kickstarter in which she was able to secure enough backers to fund three manufactured plush designs. The campaign raised a little under $10,000 in a 30 day period. Packages were sent out all her backer rewards by the end of summer.
Now with just over 24 hours under Shall’s belt, she has already raised 26% of her funding goal. “I’m really hoping we can cover all the unlockable goals that we have set in place,” said Shall “but it’s going to take a lot of work to get there. I have confidence we will at least unlock Vincent, he seems to be a very popular design!”
