Donna, TX – April 14, 2015 – Platydroid Productions launched an Indiegogo campaign for the Platydroid Package, a service designed to help young filmmakers create their first independent film for an affordable price.
Despite its small staff, the Texas-based production company has developed a wide variety of content and hopes to assist others interested in creating their own projects. For donations of $500 and up, Platydroid will assist backers with producing their choice of a short or full-length feature independent film.

In addition to pre-production assistance, Platydroid is offering discounted rates for women in hopes of improving gender equality in the film industry and giving aspiring female directors a platform to bring their vision to life. Backers can also receive various perks such as personalized videos and every production in the Platydroid catalogue.
