PBHspace: See Your Name in Space and Support Spacecraft Engineering for the 21st Century!

Huntsville, AL – In August 2016, PBHspace launched a crowdfunding campaign powered by Tilt Pro to help fund the development and production of the Q1 Spacecraft Bus and the Q1-1 Satellite.

“By utilizing a variety of tools, PBHspace has an understanding of how a spacecraft mission goes from its initial planning stages all the way through launch and mission operations. There is a unique insight into that process through extensive experience, which is applied to Spacecraft Systems Engineering tasks of a variety of natures,” says the creator, Paul Huter, “PBHspace has frequently been relied upon as an industry expert for space mission and spacecraft-related information around the world.”

The Q1 Spacecraft bus is a new and innovative way for small to medium sized businesses to create a presence in space. This new system is currently under development, but PBHspace plans to have it ready for customer use in 2017.

Other services that PBHspace provides are mission planning and design, spacecraft design, and launch trajectory modeling. Whether serving as a contractor or as a consultant, PBHspace is dedicated to working to move your Spacecraft Engineering business forward.

“When it comes to Spacecraft Engineering, experience counts. PBHspace’s background with NASA lunar rovers and Mars probes, along with the design of a lunar communications network, prepared the organization for work on the Space Shuttle Program and its successor, Constellation,” Huter explains, “The focus of PBHspace has always been on creating capabilities, whether that is related to the design of spacecraft or the management of complex engineering teams and businesses. That is Spacecraft Engineering for the 21st Century.”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including a commemorative coin for $10, the chance to see your name flown to space aboard the Q1-1 satellite for $15, and more! Backers can also pledge $25 to send a #TweetFromSpace or $100 to send a #TweetFromSpace once a week during the Q1 spacecraft’s mission.
