Opinionate This Podcast
From new superhero Action flicks to the pitfalls of vinyl, Opinionate This Podcast is more than likely to raise a few eyebrows. Relating the Latest Batman vs. Superman movie to “Zack Snyder’s obsession with rippling muscles” is one prime example.
Opinionate This Podcast acts as the main hub, where anyone can tune in to the weekly episode and listen to such segments as This Bothers Me, Shitty Reviews on Shitty Movies and more. The podcast explores current pressing issues in media and entertainment. For example how Hollywood doesn’t seem capable of creating a film that isn’t just another 80’s rehash/ origin story. Or how growing up with video games has shaped who we are today. More than likely the members of the podcast are likely and willing to play Devil’s advocate and raise some controversial questions about love, life and society.
The Channel
Shooting across YouTube, iTunes and Twitch, Opinionate This aims to get together, have a few drinks, play games and talk pop culture.Tune into the YouTube channel and you will find a drunk twist on Let’s Plays, two men getting makeovers, Mass Debates and Movie Pitch Challenges. Join in on the Live Twitch stream every Saturday Midnight and meet the people behind Opinionate this.
The Crew
The cast/crew behind Opinionate consists of three college friends Patrick Smith, Lindsay Rollins and Titus McNally. Patrick is the creator as well as the host and sound technician. Lindsay is a regular guest and producer of the show. Last but not least Titus is the regular guest and PR guy, always bringing colorful new ideas to the show.
The Goal
The podcast has recently went live with their crowdfunding campaign through Patreon. Their goal is to raise a modest amount of $100 to help cover the cost of creating extra content. What patrons receive in return are bonus episodes, inclusion in credits and more. Also if they reach their goal they will finally be able to invest in some better equipment, enhancing the production of the show.
